Heavy duty steel grating

The heavy-duty steel grating is made of thicker (6mm, 8mm, 10mm) and wider flat bar as the load-bearing flat steel (60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, 100mm). It is a steel grating product specially designed for heavy load occasions. Heavy duty steel grating supplies far greater strength-to-weight ratio than other flooring materials to bear the heavy load such as forklift or truck traffic. They are also available in either smooth top or serrated for anti-slip.

Because these gratings are typically in more severe service, it is highly recommended that all open ends be trim or load banded. The welded band bar helps distribute these loads and minimizes potential panel distortion.

Heavy duty steel grating common specification:
1. Flat bar: The width of bearing flat bar is above of 65mm, thickness of flat bar is above of 6mm.
2. Cross bar: Usually use diameter of 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm square twist bar.
3. Spacing of bearing bar usually is 40mm, or others.
